Need Help With Lowering My Cholesterol Level?
ok, I need some advice badly. See my doctor who I honestly feel dosnt know her head from a hole in the ground said I need to lower my cholesterol, thats no problem, I have no problem going on a diet. What I need to know is… what is a good diet for me, all my so called doctor told me was to NOT eat any bread, & NO veggies.
See Im a veggy lover. I love fruits & veggies, & this doc says to advoid them all!!
Can anyone tell me a good diet to go by, What I AM allowed to eat, & not eat.
My doc & I dont get along at all anymore, becuase everytime I go in to see her, all Im giving is grieve about how Im cutting into HER time!
Im just waiting on a list to come to me of docs in my area that takes my state insurance so I can tell this doc where she can stick her time.
I did however get the pleasure of telling her that we are what makes her paycheck, & that without us, she would have NO paycheck.
She has even yelled at me husband & told him, that SHE is the docotr, he is the patient who just needs to sit there & let her do her job, because SHE is the 1 with the degree in doctoring!
What’s Good For Lowering Glucose And Cholesterol Levels Naturally?
My 7 year old daughter is skinny and mostly eats white rice, pasta,chicken and other food (not much junk). However, her cholesterol level was in 180 10 months ago, now is in 190 and her glucose is high too. Any ideas, or suggestions, change in diet, etc. She’s very skinny and has no fat in her, so I’m confused?
Tips On Lowering Cholesterol?
I would like some tips. I am 16 years old and have a high cholesterol, not high enough that I am taking medications. I just found out actually so it’s time to make a change in my diet. I am a vegetarian and I don’t eat fish (for those who think some of us do..). I looked online on foods that lower cholesterol but I would like to hear what you all suggest. I eat a hummus pita bread sandwich everyday for lunch (I have all school year) and in the morning on my way to school I either eat cheerios or cocoa puffs, it switches. I eat lots of pasta already, and olive oil.
I’m going to try eating vegan bean soup, and if I like that I will incorporate that into my diet as well. As most teens, I don’t really like veggies and fruits. The only fruit I eat is bananas, I like apples and pears but they are too juicy, and my teeth are sensitive to that (it hurts) so I end up not eating them much. And veggies I eat lettuce, lots and lots of salad for me! I use italian dressing instead of caesor (I used to use). I know I wrote a lot but I am trying to help you all to understand a general idea of what I eat.
My cholesterol is 192
and my Triglyceride is 212
That is not good. D:
Did I Eat The Write Things Today For My Diet And Lowering My Cholesterol?
This is everythig I had from 9 am to 10 pm
- small bowl of cheerios
- fat & cholesterol free strawberry smoothies [ but it did have 30 g sugar ]
- small orange and half a banana
- small glass of oranje juice and a sip of like cranberry juice
- plain salad [ only leaves & tomato ; nodressing ]
- weight watcher chicken n portabello sandwhich with ww garlic herb potatoes from applebees
- one fry lol it was a craving
